Manor Network February 2011

The MHA held its second annual February gathering on 5th February 2011 to enable Manor residents and alumni to come together and catch up, or come to know each other. The event, which we entitled “The Manor Network” proved hugely successful and we hope to continue it in future years. This formal event attracted many current residents and a sizeable proportion of recent hall alumni to enjoy a buffet prepared by the MHA Committee in the Stops Gallery. There were also boards on display showing the history of Manor Hall which were put together for the 75th anniversary celebrations. The Reunion Coordinator, Owen Peachey, until recently President of the Students Union, talked about what Manor meant to him, informing people about the MHA and encouraging people to consider joining. After the food and drink had soon disappeared, we retired to the bar where guests were entertained by a jazz band.
